Mercantile Equity provide qualified Telephone Mortgage Leads which we generally refer to as Telephone Consultations. We generate each mortgage lead for our Telephone Consultations in the same manner as the mortgage leads for our Face–2-Face Appointments using our consumer faced mortgage lead web sites.

Each mortgage lead is contacted by our UK based call centre and personal, property and current mortgage details are further qualified. This ensures that every Telephone Mortgage Lead comes with a fact find provided directly by the client.

Clients generally request a consultation due to either work commitments or are initially nervous about having strangers in their homes. There are also occasions when we are unable to allocate a Broker to see a client in the time span requested due to their diaries being full.

Telephone Mortgage Leads are available either on a National or Regional basis and can be delivered the same way as our Face-2-Face Appointments – by SMS text and email with an attached PDF of the client’s fact find details.

Mercantile Equity naturally ensure that you never have to pay for an invalid mortgage lead as the enquiry has already been qualified.. If you are provided with incorrect information the mortgage lead can be returned for consideration of replacement via BOSS where they will be validated by our staff and if confirmed to be within our Terms & Conditions credited back to your account.

Commercial Mortgage Leads (Consultations)

Mercantile Equity now produce Commercial Mortgage Leads which we generally refer to as Commercial Consultations. These Commercial Mortgage Leads are only available on a Nationwide basis but, as this area of business grows, will become available on a Regional basis.

Commercial mortgage leads are produced from client initiated enquiries received via our business facing Commercial Mortgage site. Our UK based agents contact the mortgage lead by telephone in the same manner as our other mortgage products and qualify the information given.

The information required for a Commercial mortgage is completely different from that required for a residential mortgage. We ask the client, therefore, a number of specific preset questions that are tailored to the commercial mortgage market to enable us to produce the fact find.

Once our system ‘qualifies’ the information a consultation is booked at a mutually agreeable time for both the client and the Broker. The details of the consultation are then delivered to the Broker by both SMS text and email with an attached Commercial PDF containing the clients’ fact find details.

The qualified fact find provided with all Commercial Mortgage Leads contain the right information to allow a broker to fully research each lead before contacting the client and therefore be able to provide a full service to the client.
