Just a quick note to say thank you for all of your help. Since starting with Mercantile I have completed my first campaign which was very successful with a 40% conversion rate and a gross profit of £6405 and I am now in the middle of my second campaign.
I have been in direct sales for the last 20 years and feel that the conversion rate is more than acceptable, bearing in mind that with the first few appointments I was finding my feet. The second campaign looks like it could have an even better conversion rate. I would have no hesitation recommending other people to approach Mercantile Equity.

Following a review of our appointment and lead providers I thought I would give you feedback. My overall view of your Company is, compared to other providers Mercantile certainly come out on top in the overall quality of appointments and most importantly they actually convert to business.
You can spend a lot of money and time on leads with no guarantee you will get in front of clients. Having appointments made for you gives you the edge and is more cost effective. As for the staff in Newcastle, no complaints at all and they have a sense of humour, (very necessary in this business at the moment). Having reviewed the campaigns to date and now on to my fifth the income generated justifies my continued investment.

I have taken a number of Term Assurance Leads from Mercantile and have found them to be lucrative.
I would suggest the main things to bear in mind when using these leads is to contact the client asap and be persistent i.e. if they say call back, call them back.
As for my dealings with Mercantile they have always been very fair in respect of returned leads and I have had no complaints.

I have now signed up for my 3rd campaign with Mercantile Equity. Without your company I would have found trading impossible in today’s hard market.
It is very apparent that you run a very polished and highly professional company. Unlike other companies you say what you do on the tin. I have now had 20 appointments sent over and every customer has expected and welcomed me into their home.
Your administration team are very friendly and helpful and the distinct impression I get from your company is that you want the broker to be successful and go out of your way to assist. Compared with other providers I would say that you are unique in this matter. Due to your staff my conversion rate is 75% at the moment.
Overall would I recommend you to any other brokers out there? That’s a definite yes from me! In fact out of all lead providers/appointment arrangers yours would be the only company that I would recommend.
If I had a gripe then it’s that you aren’t able to supply me with 2 leads a day.

Dear Mercantile
I thought it would be appropriate let you know the success I have had with my first 5 appointments from Mercantile Equity.
6 appointments supplied in total as one appointment was returned due to the client cancelling, and was replaced by Mercantile. Therefore, 5 appointments, 5 sales achieved. All 5 appointments were for re-mortgage and total earnings for the 5 sales will be £9593.48
All cases were prime, full status, and I was only able to charge a broker fee on 3 out of the 5. Also 3 were coming out of current deal on the 30th June and were just looking for a new rate.
As you can see extremely good profits to be made, from prime mortgage business. I am over the moon with the quality of the appointments, all were expecting me and made me extremely welcome. Therefore I have recently ordered my next campaign of 10 appointments.

Having been a broker for a number of years and used various lead providers I was very wary to approach another provider a few months ago, as a means to size up my client bank. To say I am delighted with Mercantile would be a serious understatement. Their service standards are second to none, their system of booking the appointments and speed of transferring the appointment to my diary is excellent, and It is quite evident that, when I do get to see my clients, the front line staff making the appointments are thoroughly trained and polite and courteous-this is the feedback from my clients. If on occasions I have been contacted by Mercantile it has always been a pleasure to talk to them. Also my Account Manager has always been from day one very keen, professional and most supportive.
Amazingly, I have not, as yet, ever turned out to see a client that has not been in. They have always been in and looking forward to seeing me. I thought I would write to you to compliment you on the way Mercantile Equity runs its business.
I was a little skeptical at first because I have purchased leads before and had very poor returns from them. I guess the main difference with you is that I am not purchasing leads but appointments. It is a good feeling to have a steady stream of appointments made for me and just when I am wondering where the next bit of business is going to come from, a text message appears to advise me that an appointment has been made, with the confirmation and mini fact find sent to my e-mail. All I had to do was turn up!!
My conversion rate was 50% but in fairness I have not included the clients that I have recommended stay with their existing lender and therefore could be potential for business in the future. My true success is that my income from the business written from the appointments has been 7 times the amount I paid for the appointments.
The clients I saw were complimentary on your staff manners and efficiency. I was told on one occasion that you were in contact within 2 minutes of the clients inputting their details on the system. This was ahead of any other lead providers and because an appointment was made I got in first!!
I have spent 4 times what you charge on previous advertising and had no business from it.
I wish I knew about you a year ago.
